We had such an incredible time on the Krabi 7 Island Sunset Tour! The staff really made the trip extra special – they were so helpful with taking photos and knew all the best spots for those perfect shots. Their advice on snorkelling was spot on too, which made it easy to enjoy the underwater world. Each island stop gave us just the right amount of time to explore if you don’t mind shorter visits, and the sunset was absolutely beautiful to watch from the boat. The real highlight, though, was the bioluminescent plankton – such a magical experience and unlike anything we’d seen before. All in all, a well-organised, friendly, and memorable tour that I’d definitely recommend!

An absolutely fabulous all day tour guided by our amazing tour guide Palm. She was so informative and gave us great information all day long. We were really looked after. The different islands are spectacular and breathtaking. We had several stops and time was set aside to snorkel. The food was delicious. Palm our tour guide was exceptional. I would highly recommend this tour. You’ll love it.

A comfortable Longtail boat ride, stunning island views and snorkeling experiences, a lovely beach at Poda island with a simple early dinner topped off with the amazing sight of bioluminescent plankton after sunset.

If you’re ready for a super relaxing time on the water with some good swimming, good snorkeling and beautiful views of the majestic rocks, this is your tour. Had a nice time with my adult kiddos enjoying the wonderful country of Thailand and Krabi is a not miss place.

We had this tour booked and included for us as part of our holiday booking, if it was that I'd booked it myself I may have had a slightly harsher view on how the experience went. We were advised we would be picked up from our hotel at 12pm, ready to start the tour. Just before 12, the driver arrived and we were off to a flying start. Once we arrived at the meeting point at Noppharat Thara, we signed in and were then advised we had to wait around until 13:00 for everyone else to turn up, it was only 12:10 so it felt like a wasted hour sitting around waiting for 25 other people to arrive. Some drinks and light snacks were provided and there were toilets onsight but with plenty of bugs around it was still frustrating to have to stand around waiting for so long, surely a pickup 30 mins before would have been adequate. Once the rest of the group arrived our group guide 'Green Curry' started the briefing only to have to restart after one of the group had wandered off to the toilet despite just being on the beach nearby for 20 plus minutes - not their fault but a frustration when you've already waited an hour to then have to deal with idiots. We were then all shown to the boat that we would be using for the afternoon and everyone boarded and was instructed to wear their life jacket "for the picture for the coastguard" before being allowed to take it off for the rest of the journey - not sure if that quite meets the safety requirement but we can swim so oh well. Green Curry then talked us through the stops for the afternoon and it quickly became apparent this is NOT a 7 ISLANDS tour at all - but a 7 STOPS tour. This is clearly misleading in the name advertised on both the booking sights and the way it is communicated. We were advised the day would consist of: - Koh Tup and Koh Mor: This is 1 stop but is 2 small islands connected by a sandbar. There are a few small cafe shacks but NO toilets. - Chicken Island - Only a photostop for 15 mins, none got off the boat - Snorkelling Stop 1 - We stopped for 40 minutes to allow those that wanted to snorkel to do so at stop 1 - Snorkelling Stop 2 - After the first snorkelling stop we then sailed on for 5-10 mins and stopped for another 40 minutes snorkelling - Koh Poda - A longer stop at picturesque Koh Poda which was also where the buffet dinner was served (I'll get onto that shortly!!) - Bioluminescent Snorkelling - 15 minutes in the dark off the side of a cliff near Railay So....with the 1st stop being technically 2 islands and the latter stops counting as 1 each - that makes 7 stops. Of that though there are 4 islands of which 2 are connected and 1 you don't get off the boat at. If you are a non-snorkeller there is an awful lot of time sitting around on a boat bobbing in the ocean waiting for other people! --- Koh Tup and Koh Mor --- A lovely little stop with a sandbar connecting the two small islands at low tide. Pretty dodgy walking between the 2 however as all the boats throw their anchors into the sandbar people are walking along...so you really have to watch out! There are a couple of small cafes but they are really leaning into the tourism tax - 100baht for a fresh coconut that you can get for 50-60baht in Ao Nang. There are no toilets here which is a shame given there is plenty of food and drink on offer and hundreds of tourists...it makes going in the water slightly questionable... --- Chicken Island --- Once you've seen it, thats it. A limestone cliff in the shape of a chickens head, to be honest I'm not sure what more I was expecting given the name but the inability to get off the boat at all is a shame. --- Snorkelling Stops -- So the snorkelling stops were chaotic! Ignorant members of the group refusing to follow basic instructions led to plenty of shouting from Green Curry, not a particularly relaxing experience but likewise not his fault. We had a couple of the group swim too close and kick the coral...needless to say the coral won cutting their feet open but it was surprising when they came aboard and there was no first aid kit! The areas themselves were good for snorkelling, plenty to see but when you've got 40 minutes...once you've seen a tiger fish...you've seen a tiger fish you don't necessarily need another 39 minutes to see the same species over and over again. To then move 10 mins away and repeat the process again for another 40 minutes - I felt sorry for those onboard not wanting to snorkel and the older couple that clearly booked it thinking it was a "sail off into the sunset dinner cruise" oh how wrong they were! Once Green Curry had finally rounded up the idiots refusing to come back to the boat despite it being nearly 50 minutes or so, we then headed to Koh Poda for a "buffet BBQ". Well...buffet was correct...BBQ was not! We were met by 4 or 5 cloches with food in them being poured out of plastic bags. If it was purely a leafy green salad coming out of a plastic bag it would make sense...but not bright orange fried chicken, spaghetti and rice. For those that were 'vegetarian' there were some really fresh and crispy looking spring rolls - probably the best looking bit of food there but as I'd already taken a bit of the rubbery orange chicken I was denied. The highlight of the dinner was sitting with likeminded fellow travellers having a good old chat. Sadly there was no sunset, if it wasn't for the rainclouds we would have still been on the wrong side of the island to watch it. The other highlight of dinner was having access to a toilet...almost 5 hours after setting off from Noppharat Thara Beach. --- Bioluminescent Snorkelling --- So the pinnacle of the trip, bioluminescent snorkelling!!! Due to having to pick up a group of 5 lads from Railay before departing on the tour, Green Curry had organised for us to do this close to Railay where he believed they were being dropped off. It wasn't until we got there they had the care to inform him they didn't want to go back to Railay but instead Ao Nang with everyone else. What this meant is we were now in a subpar place for the bioluminescence and also 20 minutes out of our way - HUGELY FRUSTRATING - even more so it was the same 5 muppets we had to keep waiting for at each stop as they all wanted individual and group photos doing ridiculous poses for their social medias living their "best lives". Due to this the plankton was visible but barely. Those not wanting to descend into the dark sea had it demonstrated on the boat with a bucket but it wasn't optimal or a magical experience as you'd imagine by any means. If you are considering it please do set your expectations lower than magical! For those that dared to jump into the sea - we did see more, when looking underwater with a mask and waving your hands and feet around you could see the plankton sparkle. Again not like something out of a wizarding movie but a small trail of sparkling plankton for a few seconds - just watch how far you drift as its easy to headbutt the hull of the boat when you're looking down in the dark! We only did this for 15 minutes as again...once you'd seen it there wasn't anything more to it. Plus you can't see any jellyfish or anything around you anyway so the less time the better really! Once we finished up we got aboard and headed back to Noppharat Thara Pier. Once we started to get off the boat, Green Curry was insistently shouting to "stay with him" the whole time...it felt a little ropey to be honest wandering around in the dark. We walked back up the beach to the point we all met earlier in the day before the groups were split into smaller groups for drop offs - just as the heavens opened and a cracking tropical thunderstorm ensued. So we stood there waiting for our hotel name, waiting and then waited some more. After all the other members of our group....and the 7 OTHER TOUR GROUPS had all left....just 4 of us stood in the rain with Green Curry continually apologising for the delay. 45 minutes after getting there...sodden with rain we finally had a drop off vehicle turn up to take the last 4 of us to our hotels. Truth be told, if I'd had paid for it, I'd have asked for a refund! The locations were beautiful and that was the real takeaway from the afternoon. I felt sorry for our guide Green Curry as he was a nice enough chap, funny and clearly very knowledgeable but it felt like he was fighting a losing battle with the group we had - maybe these groups should be smaller and capped to 15? The organisation of day clearly wasn't for everyone and I feel that was due to the lack of clarity of the tour but for the price it is what it is. The food advertised as a BBQ really is a con - I would genuinely recommend packing snacks as we had the dinner and are pretty convinced it made one of us ill. This tour has SO much potential as the locations are fantastic and the guide was great, but smaller groups, a first aid kit on board, an actual BBQ buffet and properly planned drop offs are essential to getting it to where people would expect it to be from how it is advertised.

One of the best tours I have ever done, the places were espectacular and the service was class, everything was just perfect and it was a great way to see the best about the islands and discover the diversity and magic that the islands offer I one to give a special shootout to the crew that guided us and commanded the ship, they are just amazing, specially Bort (I don't remember his name very well, apologies) he is a really sympathetic young man, and was always keeping an eye on us On our case, we mentioned that we were not gonna have lunch, as my wife and I are fasting due Ramadan. He totally understand us, and what's more, he and his crew saved food for us, and we end are on top of the ship after 7 PM, I cannot describe in words just how grateful we feel towards them, they are golden people 🙏

An unforgettable day with Ow! He picked us up from our hotel and stayed with us the entire day, making sure everything was perfect. We explored seven beautiful islands with his boat friend, went snorkeling, and enjoyed fresh pineapple, watermelon, water, and soft drinks. The final island was the perfect spot for a breathtaking sunset, followed by an incredible BBQ dinner. The food was amazing, and the whole experience was just perfect. On the way back, Ow showed us the magical bioluminescent water lights, and we even got to swim among them—it was absolutely incredible! Thank you, Ow, for making our day so special—we will definitely be back!
